Call for Workshop Submissions
Deadline: Friday, March 12, 2010 at 4:00pm
The PA Breast Cancer Coalition is calling for proposals for workshops to be presented at our Annual Conference on Wednesday, October 13, 2010.
We are currently looking for workshops to fit into the following tracks:
Leadership, Advocacy & Education
Advances in Treatment
Research and Clinical Trials
Breast Cancer Survivorship
The Mind/Body Connection
Caring for the Caregiver
**Workshop submissions are not limited to these tracks; we just ask that you use them as guidelines. For example a workshop on exercise & breast cancer would fit into the Mind/Body Connection track.
Workshop slots are an hour long.
If you have a workshop that you think would be an appropriate fit for the 2010 conference we would love for you to send us a proposal. This should contain
1. Your contact information
2. A description of the workshop: title, brief description including the workshop goals and objectives
3. Biographical information and/or a CV for the suggested presenter along with their contact info
Please submit your proposals via email to jennifer@pabreastcancer.org by Friday, March 12, 2010 at 4:00pm
**Please confirm that the suggested presenter is available to present at the conference on Wednesday, October 13th PRIOR TO SUBMITTING your proposal. The PBCC applies for Continuing Education Credits for the workshops and cannot replace presenters at the last minute.
If similar topics are suggested the PBCC reserves the right to combine workshop presentations into one time slot allowing equal time for each presenter. More information will be sent out about this once the workshop list is compiled after the submission deadline.
Due to a limited number of workshop slots, we can not guarantee that all proposals will be used as workshops.

Attendees are not limited to one track.
You may choose any workshop in any track.
Key: Session AM = 10:45 - 11:45 am
Session PM = 1:50 - 2:50 pm
If two sessions are listed, that workshop will
be presented during both timeslots.
