groups across the state providing valuable resources to women and their families facing
a breast cancer diagnosis. Using our interactive map, you can find one near

The Friends Like Me program reaches out to women
in Pennsylvania who have been diagnosed with
breast cancer within the last six months with a
complimentary Friends
Like Me™ Care Package, containing educational publications, books and information, as well as
some "soft touches" like a pink ribbon
pin and donated perfume. This care package helps
Pennsylvania women diagnosed within the past six
months by providing educational and inspirational
information at a time when they need it most.
"Reading
with Friends Like Me™" is
a resource list compiled by the PBCC. It
includes books on such topics as Diagnosis and
Treatment, Spirituality/Inspiration, and Humor -
all recommended by survivors!
Our
Friends Like Me™ e-Cards
are free! Send an electronic greeting to say
"thank you", "I'm thinking of
you", to remind someone to get their yearly
mammogram, or to celebrate an upcoming
holiday! Choose from at least 8 different
greetings!
