Bobsledding for Breast Cancer
February 21, 2010    Immaculata University, Immaculata, PA

Immaculata University student Christina Glantz's father has competed in two Olympic games as a US bobsledder.  So they recently combined forces on a fundraiser with a bobsledding theme for the PBCC.  Dolores Magro, PBCC staffer, got to try out the actual bobsled above!

The night included a buffet, DJ and Chinese auction. The Glantzes chose the PBCC because so many Immaculata students have family members who have had breast cancer, and they liked the fact that money raised for the PBCC would stay in Pennsylvania.  "It seemed like you really help people.  That was important." Donations are still being tallied but we think this was a gold medal-winning event!
